Experience what it’s like to dive beyond 60 feet with the guidance of our professional staff. Diving in deep water requires skills and knowledge beyond what you learn in entry-level training, however some of the most exciting sights are in the 60-100 foot range, including many wrecks.
What you will learn:
What it’s like to dive below 60ft.
Learn how to recognize and deal with Narcosis.
Learn deep dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and hazards.
Gain experience with diving deep under the direct, professional supervision of an Instructor.
Prerequisites:
You must be certified Open Water Diver, or higher.
Minimum age: 15 years old.
Number of dives: 3.
The required dives for this course must be completed at Blue Hole, NM or in one of our dive trips.
Category 2 Specialty
($300 each or any 2 Category 1 Specialties for $500)

One of the documents required for this course is the Medical Statement. Depending on your answers to the questionnaire a physician’s or other legally certified medical provider’s signature on the Medical Statement might be required prior to you getting in the water. It is important to read the form ahead of time so you have plenty of time to set an appointment if necessary. Click HERE to download the form.
You can learn how to tell if a physician’s or other legally certified medical provider’s signature is required by reading the form’s instructions or our FAQ. Don’t worry if you still are unsure whether a signature is required on your form or not, once you sign the course’s DocuSign Packet, we will contact you about it, if needed. Please remember that the Medical Statement’s 3rd page must be signed by a DO, MD, NP, or PA-C. A Doctor’s Note is NOT acceptable.
